Individual lash applications by A Refinement Salon in Toledo, Ohio allows for thicker, longer and darker lashes and can be applied to both thick and thin lashes. Lavish lashes extensions are excellent for special occasions providing the dramatic look, or the natural look for everyday flawless finish. We can build on this by adding an eyelash tint to accentuate your new look.
Lash extensions are made of synthetic material and applied directly to your natural eyelash with a special formulated bonding agent which insures that your lashes will be able to accept the extensions. Individual consultation is needed prior to application to insure that your lashes will be able to accept the extensions. During the individual consultation we will review why you are looking for them, how long your expectation is regarding your new lashes, how dark you expect them to be, as well as how long you expect them to hold and the truth about touch ups.

Eyelash Extension After Care Instructions
It is very important to follow these instructions thoroughly…
THE FIRST 24 HOURS…
DO NOT get lashes wet in order to allow glue to dry thoroughly.
AVOID hot steam from the shower and sauna.
LEAVE THEM ALONE… be gentle with your new lashes.
Do not rub your eyes excessively.
Do not wear any mascara or use an eyelash curler.
Do not wash them.
AFTER 24 HOURS…
AVOID OIL-BASED CLEANSERS, LOTION OR EYE MAKEUP REMOVERS. These products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Instead, use plain water or water-based gel cleansers. You may wish to use a Q-tip to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line.
DO NOT USE WATERPROOF MASCARA. The ingredients in this type of mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and your lashes will fall off.
IF YOU FEEL YOU MUST WEAR MASCARA… apply only a “water-based” mascara on your lash tips, not at the base of your lashes. Application at the lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line. Lynn Duncan has the recommended water-based mascaras in stock, if desired.
Again, most women do not feel the need to apply any mascara at all. If you accidentally drop some powder on your lashes, simply remove with a Q-tip moistened in plain water in order for your dark lashes to reappear again.
AVOID USING A MECHANICAL EYELASH CURLER. Instead, use a heated eyelash curler sparingly. Prolonged heat to the lashes may cause them to come loose. Lynn Duncan has the recommended heated eyelash curlers in stock, if desired.
SCHEDULE A “TOUCH-UP” PROCEDURE IN 3-4 WEEKS. “Touch-ups” or “fills” are highly recommended in order to maintain a full, lush lash line. They take less time than an initial application and are at a reduced price.
